TRIPLE “A” NOVA
Nova is our number one alfalfa variety for high quality and production. Very leafy and fine stems make this the best option for fertile soils where top quality hay is desired. Excellent package of disease and insect tolerance combined with quick recovery after cutting and a fall dormancy of 3 puts this at the top of the list for all four cutting alfalfas.
TRIPLE “A” GOLD
Our best selling Alfalfa. A blend of proven four cutting, excellent quality, and winterhardy alfalfas with resistance’s to all of the important diseases found in the mid-west. Triple “A” Gold produces a uniform stand under varying soil types and is a good choice for producing maximum soil nitrogen in long rotations.
MAXI MULTI
A high yielding, winterhardy multi-leaf alfalfa with a multiple pest and disease resistance package. Maxi Multi will produce excellent quality forage under either a 3 or 4 cut harvest system. A good choice for producing hay with very high feed value. The best product to plant for milk and beef producers who need both good yield and high protein hay.
H.R. ALFALFA
A non-GMO hopper resistant alfalfa whose growth type and characteristics discourage infestation by insects after the first year of growth. Excellent Fall Dormancy and yield for the mid-west Region. Insect resistant traits take one full season to establish, so precautions may have to be taken the first year of growth. Fine stemmed and capable of producing four good cuttings a year.
SUNRISE BRAND
Sunrise is a blend of proven high yielding and winterhardy alfalfas adapted to the mid-west. This blend has a resistance to root and crown diseases in addition to a fine insect tolerance. The first choice for producing good hay under varying soil and possible weather conditions.
VERNAL
One of the most winterhardy varieties ever developed in the U.S. Vernal has high resistance to Bacterial Wilt and produces fine stems. Good variety for any 3 cutting management operation.
CREEPING ALFALFA
An alfalfa with a horizontal growth type developed for grazing. It is also very useful in pasture mixes due to the creeping growth, low incidence of bloat in grazing animals, and drought resistance.
SOIL BUILDER
A nonwinterhardy alfalfa used in one year rotations for its ability to produce high tonnage and put nitrogen and organic matter back into the soil as a plow-down.
